Significant changes to ESS documents
CCEW, Electricity Bills and Metadata are all a mandatory requirements for supporting documents and supporting photos for all rebate claims.

Enable location services on your devices that are taking your supporting photos and collect a recent bill from your customers

Smaller units now qualify for business
The scheme has expanded to cover air conditioning systems smaller than 30kW for commercial properties. Jobs that used to fall outside the 100,000kWh needing smaller systems can now carry a rebate.
DO THIS
Check your calculator or contact our office for estimated rebates for air conditioning units that are smaller than 30kW for commercial properties.
TAKE NOTE
A claim can't be started after the ODU install
Not a change, but the one that costs the most money. Once the outdoor unit is in, the rebate on that job is gone for good. Both the Nomination and Site Assessment Declaration MUST be signed BEFORE the outdoor unit is installed. Jump the gun and you miss the opportunity to claim.
DO THIS
Submit your claim in the app when the customer has accepted your quote, not after the install is complete. Once the ODU is installed there's no claiming.

Have your say on IPARTs proposed changes to the ESS Accreditation Notice. They propose to align the ESS Accreditation Notice with the PDRS Accreditation Notice. They also propose to amend the ESS and PDRS accreditation conditions to strengthen compliance and align with recent ESS rule changes and PDRS requirements.
